To enhance game realism and longevity, we introduce the Skate Repair mechanism. Skates have a 1% chance of breaking during gameplay, necessitating repairs for further use.
Feature Highlights:
Breakage Consequence: A broken skate suspends the Skater's playability and negates CSTR earnings for that session, adding a layer of risk.
Repair Cost: Fixing a skate costs 20 CSTR, reintroducing the Skater to the game and serving as a CSTR sink to support the game's economy.
Game Longevity: This repair requirement adds a strategic burning mechanism, encouraging thoughtful resource management and contributing to the game's sustainability.
This mechanism is designed to deepen the gameplay experience, ensuring a balanced and engaging environment for all players.
